FAQs
What will my time at the gym be like?
I used to be a member, how do I sign up for class?
All memberships prior to Sept. 2020 have been deactivated in Wodify. To sign up for classes going forward, choose a membership that works for you and sign up again. This new membership includes an updated waiver for COVID-19 and is billed every 4 weeks.
How often do you recommend I come to the gym?
If you’re just starting up, we recommend coming three days/week for your first couple weeks, then build to four, then five. Once you’re up to five days per week, we recommend building in two recovery days per week.
I’m not in very good shape… can I do this type of workout?
The very first thing you will discover is that Flushing Forged Fitness does not discriminate. Whether you are young at heart, or have just completed your 50th marathon, or are recovering from injury or healing a broken heart, whether walking the dog is the only exercise you’ve had in years, or you’re someone training for the Iditarod…We will help you achieve your fitness goals.
One of the things that makes our program so unique is our community of people from literally every walk of life: stay-at-home parents, elite athletes, students, CEOs, members of the armed services, firefighters, you name it.
Do I need to reserve a spot before class?
Yes. Please use the Schedule to “Enroll”. You will fill out your account information, provide payment, and sign the waiver. You can email info@crossfitflushing.com or complete the “Contact Form” if you have any questions.
Why is your gym more expensive than other gyms?
When it comes to working out, we know you’ve got plenty of options. What’s best… At-home workouts? The chain gym that’s $15/month? Other fitness classes? We’d encourage you to ask a different question. What are you looking for? Effective workouts? Certified coaches? Clean facilities? If the answer to any of the former is “yes”, then check us out! We offer members the space, guidance and expertise to make the most our of their time at the gym.
